We’ve made it easy for you to shop for all your baby gifts at one stop with one click. Here are the top 10 gifts for a baby this holiday season:
1. A keepsake box. Keepsake boxes make the perfect holiday gift because they are personal, inexpensive and will stay with the recipient for years to come. Find a keepsake box that fits the personality of the baby you’re buying for and include a personalized note to go with it.
2. Music on CD. Give the gift of music. Music is timeless and makes for a great holiday gift. Babies and children alike enjoy having a variety of music. The parents will thank you for giving versatility to their collection.
3. Personalized diaper bag. Make mom’s day this holiday with a stylish, personalized diaper bag. No one will have the same one because of the personal inscription. Again, anything personalized makes the statement that thought and consideration went into the gift.
4. Gift baskets. Gift baskets are a way to blow someone out of the water. Gift baskets are great because there is so much in them. They are a gift filled with little gifts. You can purchase a pre-packaged gift basket that come in a variety of themes or choose your own theme and buy small gifts to fill a container.
5. A bib and burp cloth set. This is a practical gift that can be memorable. Many sets are trendy and unique so they will stand out from the rest. You can often find a bib and burp cloth set in a fabric that matches the baby bedding theme. Practical gifts are important to parents because they are something that can be used every day.
6. Silver plated piggy bank. Every child needs a piggy bank so why not make it silver. Piggy banks are a great way to teach children how to save money. You can also include the first deposit in the bank by giving the piggy bank with a little money inside!
7. Personalized baseball bat. A personalized baseball bat is great for little boys. It can serve as decoration until they’re old enough to play with it. It is both ascetically functional and practical for future use – and having it personalized adds that extra special touch.
8. Sandbox. Give the gift of endless hours of imagination and play with a wooden sandbox. Every child loves being creative when playing with sand and what better way to occupy a child and his/her friends for an afternoon. Sandboxes can be a great learning tool.
9. Baby doll accessories. Baby doll accessories will make any little girl smile since this gift will enable her to enter new levels of “realistic” exploration with her dolls.
10. Bedding. Buy new baby bedding or transitional bedding. This gift will be greatly appreciated because it will replace the bedding already used.

How to Choose the Best Baby Gift
When giving a baby gift, everyone wants to give the perfect gift. Sometimes it seems like a daunting feat, but with a few steps in place, finding a unique baby gift can be easy and enjoyable. Choosing the right baby gift will make your gift stand out from the rest. Selecting the best gift will create lasting memories for years to come. Follow these few steps to narrow down your search and make it an enjoyable process!
1. The first step is to consider who you are buying for. Take a moment and think about the parents’ interests and preferences. Think about what they would want or need.
2. Choose a gift that would be appropriate for your relationship with the parents. If you are close friends, you may want to purchase a larger gift. If you are a casual friend, then something not as large is perfectly appropriate. Don’t under-do it and don’t over-do it; you know where you fit into this spectrum.
3. Choose a gift that represents you. Giving a gift with a little of your personality or flare will always remind the parents and the child of who you are in their lives. For example, if you discussed the baby’s bedding at some point, buy the bedding or some of the bedding accessories and that memory will forever be remembered.
4. When you wrap the gift, do something that will stand out. You can use different items around the house to create an attractive and memorable gift. Use photographs of you and the mom-to- be to decorate the wrapping paper; tie a pacifier or small baby toy to a ribbon around the package instead of using a bow; or write the baby’s name on some craft paper along with descriptive words of how you feel about the baby.
5. Theme the gift from start to finish. Let the wrapping, the card, and the box all be a representation of the gift. If you are buying a booster seat, you can include a bib, a plate and spoon, some baby food, etc. Let your creativity flow with the thought and detail you put into the gift in order to show your love for the person.
6. Don’t forget the small details. If the gift needs batteries, include some with it. Again, paying close attention to detail will make a large statement.
Looking for a unique baby gift can take a great deal of time, but it doesn’t have to. If you are organized in your approach and remain committed to be creative, your gift is sure to make a lasting impression.

Choosing the Right Baby Bedding Set
Many parents are clueless where to start when choosing the right baby bedding set. Baby bedding has come a long way over the last 50 years. With the introduction of the internet, parents have easy access to so many different styles and options that choosing crib bedding can become a bit overwhelming. My wife and I determined the 3 general areas you will need to decide on before selecting your baby bedding set. It should be fun and exciting so take a deep breath, use these three steps and enjoy yourself!
1. Decisions, decisions, decisions.
The first step in choosing your baby bedding is to consider the overall theme and style you want to achieve. The infant’s bedding will set the tone for the rest of the decorations in his or her room. Start your search by looking at themes based on searching for boy or girl bedding. While that may seem obvious, it is the most important place to begin. The most popular bedding styles are: boy/girl themed, modern/trendy, traditional, neutral, animals, floral and cartoon characters. Talk with your partner and decide which best suits your style. Once you choose the style, the rest of the process involves simply narrowing down your likes and dislikes. Since your little one will not have much of an opinion on the matter, baby bedding is all about your likes and dislikes.
2. Create your budget.
Make sure you look at your budget and decide how much you are able to spend before looking. With so many choices in baby bedding, you will want to ensure you are ready to avoid the temptation to overspend. One consideration before choosing a price range is the level of quality and comfort. Keep in mind that infant bedding that is more affordable can also be compromising in both quality and longevity. I recommend setting your price range somewhere in the middle, if you are unable to spend a lot of money on your baby bedding.
3. Go for it.
Now that you have in mind the style and the price you’re able to afford, it’s time to start your search. If at first, you don’t see anything that seems right, keep looking because you’re bound to find that perfect baby bedding made for your little angel. Be sure to shop around for the best price possible. One thing my wife and I always do is try to find the exact item we want at a lower price by searching the internet until we complete our mission.
Cherish these moments with your spouse. These decisions should be an opportunity to draw closer together before the big day. Enjoy yourselves and make lasting memories.

New Products Coming
So, it has been a busy week for everyone at www.1butterflystreet.com with the addition of a few more vendors. I'm very excited to be featuring the incredibly stylish diaper bags from JP Lizzy. Too bad I didn't know about these diaper bags 10 years ago when my daughter was born. Now, with the new baby and the business, there are way too many options out there for designer diaper bags. So far I have baby bags posted for Caden Lane, JP Lizzy, and Baby Kaed -- and I still need to add Posh Moms.
In addition to that, I just heard back from this vendor who sells beautiful baby bracelets and baby anklets that make wonderful baby shower gifts. They even have these great mother/baby bracelet sets. I think Logan wanted almost every baby bracelet there was; however, I tried to convince her to wait since Christmas is just around the corner.
Well, off to add more products. I want to get the hand knit baby sweaters on-line in time for the holidays. I'm so excited about the progress of www.1butterflystreet.com. It is actually taking on a life of it's own.
